Nursery
The Purple House Nursery is part of the Winner Project and is situated within the Preston Road Women's Centre. We are a small, friendly and very homely nursery where your little ones can have fun, learn and play in a safe and secure environment.
Our nursery team are qualified, experienced, dedicated and CRB checked but above all have a genuine passion for working with babies and young children.
We pride ourselves in providing high quality loving care and attention for your little ones, and giving them the best possible start to nursery life by filling their days with fun activities, lots of laughter, singing, making friends and choosing how and when they play and learn.
All our activities are planned and evaluated using The Early Years Foundation Stage and Every Child Matters Framework.
We take immense pride in being able to offer a safe and supportive environments to children and families experiencing crisis.
We also offer a creche service to women accessing the centres training courses and services (this is subject to funding).
We differ from most day nurseries as we specialise in the care and early learning of babies from 3 months to 3 years. Our rooms and facilities are ideally suited to this age group and our homely, warm atmosphere in the Purple House nursery is second to none. We are one of a small number of nurseries who were successful in their bid to offer 2 year olds free nursery sessions as part of the Hull City Council 2 year Old Pilot Scheme.
We are registered with Ofsted to provide care for babies from 6weeks to 5years and a maximum of 11 children. This small number ensures all our children receive a lot of one to one attention and soon become part of our unique little family at the Purple House. We work closely with parents and carers to ensuire we build positive relationships which will naturally enhance the children's learning and development.
The Purple House Nursery is under new management and has recently been awarded a GOOD rating by Ofsted in all five areas of care and early education which is the highest grade we could achieve.
The Purple House Nursery has two beautiful, well equipped rooms and a lovely garden for your little ones to enjoy and explore.
Nursery Opening Times:
The nursery is open Monday to Friday 10am til 3pm.
Nursery Prices:
- All Day £17.50
- Half Day £10
