Volunteer Training: All volunteers are given the opportunity to update their skills whilst working in the centre, opportunities include reception duties, answering the phone, monitoring incoming phone calls and generally making women feel welcome when they come through the door. Volunteers will develop an awareness of women’s issues and learn the confidentiality policies which is essential to working within Womens’ Centres.

Assertion and Confidence Building: This course helps you look at how you are treated and how people treat you. This course aims to improve your self worth and your self-esteem in a fun and interesting way.

Sexual Health Training: This course teaches volunteers the skills needed to provide women with free pregnancy tests supply women with free condoms, advice, information and support on a range of sexual health issues, including sexually transmitted infections.
